For nano drones (wt. less than 250 gram) No license is required. For other categories (Micro, Small, Medium and large): A Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) issued by a DGCA- Authorized training organization (RPTO) is mandatory.
You can get certified at any DGCA – authorized Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO).
Typically, training programs last 5-7 days and cover theoretical and practical modules.
Drones are not permission to fly in:- NO-Fly Zones Like Airports, Military Areas and International Boundaries.
Yes, but only if the drone is equipped with anti- collision lights and you have specific permission.
For non- restricted zones no permission is needed if you follow the regulations. For restricted zones you must obtain permission through the Digital Sky Platform.
